How many people will take part in a retreat?
There will be a maximum of up to 8 people per retreat not including the Staff

Do I have to participate in all activities?
No, it is not compulsory to attend all activates and everyone is welcome to spend some time alone either by the poolside or on individual adventures or just to rest for the day.
Do I need to have therapy before I join the retreat?
No, it is not required to have had any forms of therapy before attending.
What if I'm anxious about group activities?

If you're anxious about group activities, rest assured that our retreat is designed with your comfort in mind. We understand that everyone has unique needs and comfort levels, which is why our small group size, limited to just 8 people, ensures a supportive environment.
At our retreat, we prioritize individualised attention, and our experienced facilitators are sensitive to varying comfort levels within the group. While we do offer some group activities, participation is always optional, and there's no pressure to engage beyond your comfort zone.
We believe in fostering a nurturing and non-judgmental atmosphere where you can feel free to express your concerns. We encourage open communication, and our small group setting allows for more personalized attention, ensuring that your experience is tailored to your specific needs and preferences.

Can I join the retreat if I can't make the exact start date?
Yes, feel free to join at any point during the retreat, however there will not be a reduction in the price of the retreat but please inform us if you are arriving at a later time or later date.
Who runs the retreats?
The founder of Treetops Retreats and Therapies, Leanne Holmes who will be running the retreats including the activities and as a main point of contact for everyone who is interested. Please take a look on the "About" page for more information about Leanne and her qualifications.
Is the retreat wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately the retreat is unable to accommodate for wheelchairs at this time due to the restrictive nature of where Treetops is located and how Treetops is structured. If you have any concerns in regards to mobility please contact us.
Can I bring pets or children to the retreat?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate for both pets and children within the retreat.
Am I able to bring my electronic devices like Phones, Laptops, IPads?
Yes these devices can be brought to the retreat however we request that they be left inside of the bedrooms during activities to prevent disruption. If any devices are required for medical purposes please feel free to contact us, so we can help accommodate these requests.
How long are the retreats?
Normal scheduled retreats will be completed over 2-3 nights but can be extended longer if requested for any group bookings.
Who is welcome to the retreats?
The retreats are restricted to Women only for scheduled retreats, unless a group booking was arranged separate from the normal retreats throughout the year where each person is known to each other. Any concerns or questions do not hesitate to contact us regarding this.
Am I able to book One to One retreats and therapies?
We do not cover one to one retreats, however if Treetops is booked through Cottages.com as a personal holiday, services can be offered for one to one therapies with anyone occupying the holiday cottage. Food
Are Meals included within the retreat?
Yes all meals including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided throughout the retreat with snacks being available throughout the day, it will include Vegan, raw vegan and Vegetarian options and accommodations for allergies will be provided. If there is anyone with allergies please contact us regarding this so we can arrange alternative meals.
Will alcohol be available at the retreats?
Unfortunately us ourselves will not provide any alcoholic beverages throughout the retreat but feel free to bring some social drinks like wine to wind down during the night. We are unable to accommodate for alcohol dependency or recreational drug use on site due to the disruptions it may cause.
Location
Where do the therapy sessions take place?
The sessions themselves are completed in a studio and holiday cottage called Treetops located on the north west coast of Wales in a town called Arthog.
Can we book Treetops as a Holiday?
Yes, Treetops is an 4.9 star rated holiday cottage available on Cottages.com and can be booked on a weekly basis, please follow this link for more information: https://www.cottages.com/cottages/treetops-osk
Pool
How deep is the pool?
The pool itself decends the further you swim, at its more shallow end it is 4ft and it reaches 6ft in depth. If you are not a comfortable swimmer then the shallow end is 4ft and is a perfect height for all activities.
Is there a restricted time for the use of the pool during the retreat?
There is no restricted time from a late night swim to an early morning spash the pool will always be available.
Group Bookings
Can I place a group booking and have it catered to our needs?
Yes, this can be arranged and catered for and also could be available on different weeks of the year, please contact us to discuss and arrange a time and date separate from the already scheduled retreats.
Are discounts available for group bookings?
Yes, please contact us to discuss group bookings seperate from the reguarly scheduled retreats where we are able to offer potential discounts.
Payment / Booking Process
How do I pay and book a retreat?
You can either book the retreat online through the website or contact us to arrange for a slot to be filled and to discuss a method of payment.
What are the terms and conditions?
Terms & Conditions:
By booking a retreat with Treetops Retreats & Therapies you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Please read these terms carefully before confirming your booking.
Booking & Payment - A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to the retreat start date.
Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made up to 4 weeks before the retreat start date will receive a refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before the retreat will not be eligible for a refund.
- In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be provided.
- If Treetops Retreats & Therapies cancels the retreat for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future retreat.
Changes to Your Booking - If you need to make changes to your booking (e.g., transfer to another retreat), please contact us at least 4 weeks in advance. We will try to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee availability.
- You may transfer your booking to another participant by providing written notice at least 4 weeks before the retreat, subject to approval.
Health & Liability - By booking this retreat, you confirm that you are physically and mentally capable of participating in retreat activities. Please inform us of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or other concerns prior to the retreat.
-Treetops retreats & Therapies is NOT responsible for any injuries, health conditions, or accidents that occur during the retreat.
- It is recommended that participants have their own travel and health insurance.
Travel & Accommodation - Travel to and from the retreat location is the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise specified.
- Accommodation is included in the retreat price, depending on the package you choose. Please check your booking confirmation for details.
- Any specific room preferences are subject to availability.
Conduct - We expect all participants to act respectfully toward other attendees, staff, and the environment. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in your removal from the retreat without a refund.
Force Majeure - Treetops Retreats & Therapies is not responsible for any cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions).
In such cases, we will offer a rescheduled retreat or a credit toward future retreats.
Privacy - Any personal information you provide to us during the booking process will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of your retreat experience. We will not share your information with third parties unless required by law.
Photography & Media - By attending the retreat, you agree that Treetops Retreats & Therapies may use any photos or videos taken during the retreat for promotional purposes, unless you explicitly opt out by notifying us in writing prior to the retreat.
